Well, today we depart Japan for Beijing, China. Most of the day has been spent finding our way from the lovely hotel in Kyoto to the Osaka Kansai International Airport. (I initially followed the Google Maps suggested route, which would’ve taken us to the wrong airport… after minor heart attack, we were on the right way).
The Kansai (Osaka) Airport is much larger than I imagined it would be. Lots of high-end shopping (not the purpose of our journey, thankfully). We are flying China Eastern Air, apparently like Europe’s low-cost Ryan Air, and U.S. Airlines that cater to people who want to fly low-cost.
Below are a few pedestrian pics from along the way – from our wet/rainy start to the last bit of local cuisine along the way – and other items of interest (to me) along the way.
Next post will be from mainland China (Beijing)!
